Trading Days
A highlight of the Social Enterprise & Business Challenge are the Trading Days. The first is held on a busy Saturday towards the end of March at The Cascades Shopping Centre in Portsmouth. This is a unique opportunity for the young business men and women to develop their merchandising and marketing talents. It is also the chance for the sales people to go to work. The students get that buzz which comes from selling real products to real people for real money. There is an amazing atmosphere as over 150 young entrepreneurs representing dozens of different companies set up their sales pitches next to such illustrious names as Next and BHS. There is nothing quite like the thrill of engaging with customers who are keen to purchase your products.
