More than 50 students who have entered this challenge over the past 9 years belong to that special group of winners who have travelled to Goa in India on this amazing life changing prize! The winning team, along with their teacher and business mentor, will see first hand some of the mission work that Faith & Football support and meet some of the orphans and people who will benefit from part of the profits generated by the companies of the Social Enterprise & Business Challenge. Our hosts in India are Ricky & Gilly of Mustard Seed Ministries, a Christian Charity based in Portsmouth. This is not the usual tourist trip. Participants will visit orphanages and schools and experience for themselves daily Indian life. They will also have an opportunity to use their business skills by negotiating a good price for rice in the local market and then personally handing it out to needy families in some of the poorest villages.
Faith & Football cover the costs of flights, accommodation, breakfast, lunch and evening dinner, drinks, refreshments, all coach travel and entry fees. Participants will need only to bring a very small amount of spending money for bargain haggling and cover the costs of passports and visas.
